Tire Rotation, which direction, front to back, criss-Cross????
Hello, just wanted to know since I want to Rotate my tires on my own with a JackStand, which Way do I rotate my tires......they are the OEM Size tires (245-40-18)
the tires are Dunlop Graspic DS-2 DSST CTT (winter Tires)
does anyone have a diagram? or do I just switch the backs to the fronts and the fronts to the back? am confused? criss-Cross them?
which way?
I have about 5K miles on them and they are beginning to have uneven wearing and much louder, sounds like a whoosing whoosing sound when I'm breaking from 50mph to a dead stop.........................

Normally the preferred method is to criss cross-front left to rear right, front right to rear left. But....many of the tires on SC's are unidirectional and can only be swapped from front to rear. Now myself I have my tire guy discount the tire and swap as I run staggered and have inner tire wear. This allows me to double up the tire wear due to this wear.
