lowenhart bs5 on sc430 w/TPMS?
Im looking to put a set of Lowenhart BS5 wheels on my sc430...
the size is 19x9.5F w/ 245/35/19 and rear 19x9.5R w/275/30/19
offset I believe is +45
stock i think is 18x8 with +45 offset also.
car is totally stock, not lowered and no plans to(live in NY)
Id want to avoid any and all rubbing if possibly
1. Does anyone have any experience with lowenharts and their compatibility with the TPMS? I want to know whether its a direct fit or a strap of some sort is needed to transfer the sensors over.
(i dont want to pay to take the stock tires off of the wheels just to find out that the sensors need metal straps) Would a shop have this stuff or would it have to be special ordered?
2. Would I need a hub-centric ring? I think I read there were a few different kinds, and some were better than others... whats the best? would a local shop have something like this on hand or special order?
3. what lugs do you all recommend? what size? i remember ordering lugs for my last car when I switched to aftermarket wheels and they didnt fit & the shop didnt allow refund or exchange=(
I was either thinking of the mcguard spline drive or gorilla(i hear they have this thing where every lug is a lock) whats better? im really concerned about wheel security.
4. what do you all think about wheel spacers? is there any benefit to them or reliability issues? are they all the same or are there different quality spacers?

Those will not fit properly they will be way inset (think bicycle tires). Lowenharts are soft so be VERY careful with bumps. The spacer thing is not really my cup of tea, but to each his / her own.

I think you might want fatter tires with that setup for NYC.
Also you should buy some hub rings they are cheap.
Buy spacers also 10mm up front 15 mm in the rear sounds about right rominl chime in if I am wrong.
I am using straps for my TPS sesnsors. works great. no problems and I doubt there ever will be that thing is strapped down well and will not fall out since theres a clip holding it in place.

the width of the rims arent the problem, its the offset. If you dont mind the rims looking sunken in then you dont need spacers. Also I think other members were saying the quality of that brand werent too high.

what spacer kit do you recommend? (they do both the job of spacing and the hub ring in one right?)
