Will 235 tire size width will fit on x 8.5 wheels wide...
I'm planning to buy some 20's rims for my IS350. The front tire of the car will be 235/35/20 on a 20x8.5. I don't know that set up will be okie for my rims. I dont want the rims to stick out the tire, i want more protection on the rims. The reason why I don't want to get 245 because the front wheel will be .3 inch higher than the rear and i don't want it to rub inside the fender like 1 of the member in here have use the same offset/size and it rubs a liltle. Any one have use the tire size 235 on a 8.5' please give me your comments. Thanks

235/35 and 275/30-20 have the same exact stretch when mounted on 8.5 / 10" wheels. Its a much better combo than 245/35 and 275/30 I personally had both combo's on my GS so i know!

These are 235/35/19 19s x 8.5 with a 35mm offset hope it helps. I'll try to put a better pic later. I also have a thread going "Rim Opinions" with a pic from the side of the car.
