Question Which Tire Set-up Will Not Rub???

I Have An '06 Gs300 RWD. Which Of The Following Tire Set-ups Will Not Rub. I Am Going To Purchase Some Rims And Tires Tomorrow. Thanks.

245/35/20 (front) 255/35/20 (rear)

Or

245/40/19 (front) 285/35/19 (rear)

plug in your numbers here.

you will need to know the offset of the prospective rims for best calculations.
Your current offset (if stock rims, is 45).

well, you can make either one of those setups rub. it all depends on the offsets of the wheels.

personally, why would you go 19's when you could go 20's for a minimal cost difference?? the 245/35/20 is the same overall diameter of your factory 17's if that helps. the 255/35/20 is going to be a little bit larger than your factory overall diameter. probly about 1/2" - 3/4" difference.

I THINK I AM GOING WITH THE 19s. HERE IS THE SET-UP...JUST WANT TO ENSURE THEY WILL FIT. THE OFFSET IS 20. THANKS AGAIN GUYS...AND GALS...IF ANY.

FRONT
19X8JJ 245/40/19

REAR
19X9.5JJ 285/35/19

20 offset??!?!?!? dude.......your gonna rub. dont order them!

i hope you dont plan on lowering that thing.......at all. the norm for offsets us usually about high 30's for the front and mid to high 40's for the rear. i think you should do your homework a little!

245/35/20 will rub...and doesn't matter on offset it'll still rub. It's because when you are lowered and roll with a 0.5" larger diameter on the tire, you are going to rub on the plastic liner (from experience). Go with the 245/30/20 tire up front, and rear use whatever you like. Unless you are going to run a 245/35/20 on a 10....the tire will rub

Yeah I have 245/35/20 in the front dropped on pro-spec's and I rub like cray on the inner liner so I can either remove the liner or raised the car.

thanks for that link. thats a really good tire calculator. the one i use to use wasnt nearly in depth as that one. thanks!
