Default Tire Size for 18x8.5 on SC - 245/255/265????

Just wanted people's opinions about the rim before I put tires on. I currently have Work VS-SS but going for an executive VIP theme now. Here are the rims before they are mounted. Rim sizing are 18x8.5 +35. I was thinking of running modest 245 all the way around (I want the tires tucking under the fender). So how wide and tall?

I'm sorry but you, like others made this mistake of asking for others' help without giving all your info out. This really needs to be improved on so that forum members can help you with ease (in one try).

You've asked for our opinion on how wide and how tall your tires should be.

Let me ask you these questions first.

What kind of driving are you going to be doing?
-spirited or mild?
-daily or weekend?

What exactly do you mean by tires tucking under the fender?
What kind of drop do you currently have?
What kind of drop do you wish to obtain after you get the tires?

Are your rims 18x8.5 on both front and rears?

Judging by the info you gave us, your drop (I figure at most 2 inches) and that your rims are the same sizing all around. I'd say go with 245/40/18 and 255/40/18. I'm not sure I would get 265's if I were you. It'll vary...

This is my daily driver. It won't see much track days, if any. The rims are 18x8.5 all the way around. The drop is hard to explain. The springs are Eibachs meant for the MKIV NA, so lowers the rear 1.0, front 1.5.

I'm looking for equal sized tires, don't care for staggered since my rim sizes are the same anyways. So now 265? How about 255 all the way around? Would I encounter any tire rubbing when I turn? Also would 255 push the tires outside the fender? I think that is a horrible look. I've noticed a lot of people with crazy obession for wide rims and offset which pushes the rims and tires out of the fender.

So I'm still stuck on tire sizing. It seems that 255/35/18 is OEM spec for a lot of exotic cars so manufacturers are charging a grip for them.

So I'm thinking 245/40/18 in the front and 265/35/18 in the rear. Would this work and fit for the SC on a 18x8.5 +35mm rim? Any recommendation for tire brands? Looking a summer tire with decent thread life.

SC owners, what is the OEM tire size? I want to calculate the height so I don't get too short or tall of a tire.
