Will this give problems ?
Hi,
I would like to buy a nice set of wheels and tires for my 1998 GS300, which still has the original 16"rims.
Someone here in the Netherlands offers a set of Keskin KT-4 rims 18x8,5 with 235/40/18ZR front and 265/35/18ZR back.
Will these fit or will I get problemes (rubbing, brakes etc.) ?
Hope to get some good advices from you !!
Thanks !
Fred

You are right Chuck, I forgot.
Offset of these rims is 30.
By the, my care is also green but yours looks a lot beter with the set of wheels you have on it !
Would like to know which make and type it is (19"?)

Thanks for your advise !
Someone told met offset for Lexus GS300 is 38 - 45 on the "normal" size and range of wheels.
Can you guys (with a lot more Lexus-experience than I have) verify that ??

With the different criteria being inter-dependent, it is more difficult to just say this offset range is OK or this width is OK or this tire spec is OK and so on. This would be a good starter read:

Your original question gives one rim spec but 2 tire specs. Do you mean to say the previous owner put those different tires on the same size rim?
As for your question about chuckb's rims, those are the OEM 18s from the 06 GS430.

Another question, another set of wheels:
A set of nice Kosei Racing RT wheels in 17x7,5, offset is 35.
Rires front are 225 and rear are 245.
These are the ones:
Your opinion please: would this fit without problems and how would it look under my dark green GS300 (unfortunately I am not a Photoshop-expert) ?
Or should a wait untill I find an nice(r) set in 18"of 19" ?
Thanks in advance !

As - deep in my heart - I want them bigger too, I won't these ones either.
I am in contact about these wheels, 19" Alessio F1. I think they will look OK under my also dark-green GS 300:
Another set I am talking about is this set in 20" .... but I'm not sure about the looks under my car.
In both cases I'm awaiting more info about offset. To be continued ....
