Default Wheel offset questions

Hey Guys

I'm new on this forum so I need some advice.

I'm thinking of getting a set of new wheels on my car. 19X8.5, 19X9.5 staggered fitment. Is there particular offset I should be looking at for my car. Its the IS350 with the sports package which includes the lowered suspension (eibach).

How would I know which offset I should be using because the size is different I assume I would be oging with OEM type offsets. And is there anything else I should be worrying about or looking at when I purchase a set of wheels for my IS?

thanks

I know someone is about to tell you to read the 35+ page sticky at the top, but I feel you I can't seem to figure out what to get myself. Tirerack says+45 offset on some +40 on others, so what would be the acurate range? From what I have gathered +35 to +45 is ok, but if you lower th IS do you need a different offset than if you keep it stock height? Some people say it sucks the wheel in. (of course I am refering to 19" wheels here, as I assume different offset for 17, 18,19 and 20)

Default +40 mm

the aftermarket wheel post is your best source.

for what it's worth...i have the sports suspension, but switched springs to h-tech. i went w/ 19x8.5 & 9.5 combo +40mm offset all around. hope that helps.

IS250/350? Also do you have a pic of a side shot? I got the Stech's but havent put them on yet cause I dont know if its low enough for me. I, unlike a bunch of people on here are afraid of losing ride quality, personally I like it stiff but also I want it low. No one here has a pic of the Stech's, there is one member but he wont post a pic for some reason Thanks since5oh
