Default need help in offset.

hey lads, I'm about to buy a set of 18" OZ Superleggera, 18x8 and 18x9, it was made for a E46 M3, but the seller is unsure of the offset, I need to know the exact offset so I can order the adapters.

he bought 'em thru TireRack last yr, so if someone can help me out that'll be great, he did say he need to run spacers at the back to clear 'em.

Do these only come in one offset? Also, are you planning to use the adapters to bolt onto the Lexus? I believe the bolt patterns are different.

You're right -- they're not the same. BMW pattern is 5 x 120 while Lexus is 5 x 114.3

yeah i agree, you need adapters to change teh bolt patten.

but that means it has to be a pretty thick adapters. and i think the offset for m3 wheels are pretty aggressive. might not work for the gs afterwards

no, they are for my Volvo, I can run really low offset on the car, I've ran -2 offset 16x8 wheels before.

I'm sure there's only one offset available for the M3 package, just thought some of you wheels guru here may be really familiar with the OZ wheels.

edit: I'm stupid, TireRack list the specs on their site, found out they are all 40mm offsets.
