Default In a jam - SC400 on flat, in garage, with lost wheel lock

Talk about a bad 2 days,... going on 3 maybe,....

rollin' from the club last nite, caught a flat,... I don't carry a spare as I have the boomin' system in the trunk, and roadside assistance,... so that was cool,... HOWEVER! I get home,.. had my neighbor help lift the car up enough to get the jack up under the car,... look in the glove box,.. no damn wheel lock!!

I think the last place to replace my hub centers may have not given me my center cap back.

What to do?? I really don't wanna try to break the studs,...as I don't wanna damage the rim ( chrome ).

I saw someone posted about a kit from Sears,... anyone tried it yet??

Get a can of fix o flat and fill the tires. Take all the nuts off but the lock. Drive it around a few corners and check from time to time. The lock will be loose in time.
I've done it and it works.

Take a socket that will barely fit onto the lock. Then grab a hammer and pound it in so that it grabs the lock. Then just loosen it with a ratchet.Takes about 30 secs.Good luck.

Thats a little risky... you might get the nut loose, but you also might snap the studs. then youll really be up a creek!

I'm with Stage3 on this one, that's about the most dangerous option.

BUSTN's suggestion is good. Or if you're not comfortable breaking them off yourself, pay to have your local Tire shop do it. It might even be cheaper than buying the tool from Sears. Just fill the flat with fix-a-flat and drive it to your local Tire shop and have them do it. Tell them you don't want the chrome scratched and ask them to be careful. Good luck!

Try going to Discount Tire they may have a tool to take off your wheel lock.

If the locks are the stock ones from the dealer, they can take it off for you. they should have a master set of all the "color" of the keys
