what tool??
As I was putting the center caps on my wheels, I noticed that one of the screws was not tightening as I was turning the allen wrench b/c the threading on the centercap was stripped.
The rim shop said that I could re-drill the thread. Does anyone have any ideas of how to do this? COuld I just use a similar size screw and drill it in the hole of the center cap and then try alen wrenching the bolt back on??
PS: Didn't know what to search under
Thanks,
Dsouth

I'd helicoil it and you'll never have the problem again. they should include a tap with the kit, so just cut new threads, put loctite on the steel insert and thread it in, that way you can use the OEM screws and won't have to do any modifications to the center caps.
