Default tire question

when i bought my used 02 is300 a couple months ago, the dealer replaced my rear tires (bridgestone potenza RE40, i believe these are the OEM tires) but not the front ones. i am beginning to feel the steel on the inside of my front tires. i dont particularly like these bridgestones...i think they are overpriced so i am thinking about replacing the front tires with a different brand, possibly the kumho ecsta supras for now, then replacing all 4 tires together next summer. what are your thoughts? should i just buy the same bridgestones for the front or will the kumhos be ok?

thanks for your inputs.

can you tough it out for the winter? You should just get yourself some crappy tires... like some federals or something like that. then when spring rolls around, get yourself some Toyo's or some dunlops.

What is the exact size you need & do you perfer 'all season' or 'summer' tires? I'm personally not a fan at all of Bridgestones either.

I recommend having all four of the same tires on the car, I would replace with 2 more of the RE 040 or do all 4 now.

I am just a girl, so I am not super smart when it comes to tires
But I checked around alot

I have a es 300 I just replaced my tires with Kumho.. and honestly they are awesome. I am so happy with howthey handle..

I also saw a really awesome lexus with Kumho on them and it was IS 300

Kuhmo are great tires I think.. but again I am in California i am not sure what your looking for

good luck
