Default 1995 LS400: W I D E S T wheels that fit????

I'm in the market to upgrade my wheels on my newly acquired LS400, but would like to know what are the widest wheels (and what offset) that would fit on the car. I was thinking about going 9" wide up front and up to 10.5" out back, haven't decided to go 18" or 19" yet. Can I go wider to make it completely flush? Will I have clearance issues with the suspension? I don't mind rolling the fenders if necessary, but I don't want the wheels to protrude either. Your suggestions and advice are certainly appreciated.

Thanks!
