Default Is this noise normal?

This is what I have - 2001 LS430 with 20" Kaotik CEO with 255/35-20 Falken ST115s. The wheels have a 34 offset, no spacers on front, 1/8" spacers on rear.

The car is quiet straight line but in slow turns I get a lot of tire noise. I know that the ideal tire size is 245, but why am I getting a lot of noise in turns? Is the offset causing that?

Any time you up size wheel noise is more, and then you really have to do your homework in finding tires that will do want you want................Tire Rack has great info and reveiws on tires and not just by there people but the people that bought them.............

What tire pressure are you running?

the noise does not sound normal. It sounds like extremely loud tire noise. The tires are absolutely quiet going straight. I also get a pulsing wowowowowowowowow sound when turning sharp. I realize that a lower profile tire will be louder than stock but this sounds like too much. Is my offset too far out of bounds for what is acceptable? The wheels are 20 x 8.5 with 34mm offset.

I'm just curious if anyone else has experienced the same.
