I need to know what's the biggest spare i can fit in my 2nd gen. GS. Will a 19" fit as long as its the right size ?

Big brake kit is coming soon so i need to order the wheel by weeks end. Don't want to be stranded with a 16" spare and be sol.

I did search past threads , but did not find a definitive answer, so i'm asking to be sure.

I have 18x8 now with 235/40. I think as long as you keep the same OD as the OEM size, you should be OK. There is also the issue of the bulge. I don't know if a x8.5 or x9 wheel will leave a "lump" in the trunk.

yeah if you get a spare with the right tire it's ok. as long as it's not too wide, where it will end up too high when you put it in the trunk
