Installed 25mm RCA on 06 GS300
and the outcome? wonderful.
I originally wanted to do this not to lower the car, but to improve my ride quality at its low state.
So. here is what it looked like before i installed the RCAs.
and then i installed these.
and here is what it looked like after
no difference. Why? because i didnt want to go lower. So what i did was raise my suspension by proloading the springs by 25mm (the same as the RCA) to keep my ride height.
Its not just the suspension that worsened my ride. Its also the front tires. Im running 235-30-20 on a 10inch wheel. but even with those skinny unsafe shady tires, these RCAs improved my ride.
my rear is slammed though.
So make sure you get these if you want to ride low and keep a great ride quality.

i wouldnt have preloaded the springs to 25mm.
to explain my opinion, the only reason i say not to preload your springs anything more than the usual recommended 0mm to 3mm is because the more you preload the spring, the more your compressing the spring and not allowing it to absorb road impacts. 25mm probably wouldnt hurt but it will make for a harsher ride because its compressed more than it needs to be.

youre right. however, i unloaded the springs to lower the car because i maxed out the bottom perch. so i had to drop the spring down to go lower.
with the RCAs, i was able to go back to where i was +some. i was pretty much bottoming out the shocks.
but just preloading the springs doesnt necessarily make the ride harsher. everything depends on total balance. spring rate, dampening, frequency, etc.

So in essence, now you have more piston travel (more dampening and no more bottoming out) by reversing the pre-loaded springs....basically let the RCAs drop the car by 25mm, and raising back up the pre-loaded spring perch by 25mm.
