Its hard to say exactly without looking, but possibly if the spacer size was a perfect fit for the axle spline it would hold in its location better and not wiggle around causing damage to the sensors.

I just lowered my gs 350 awd on bc coils and 20x9 +38 offset all around and have vibrations.. I don't mind it too much but all the sudden I have a check system warning with two "!" lights.. smh. is it because I need to have the sensors installed? also is this the same as a check engine light? thinking about going to a dealer and having them check but scared to see what they say lol.

well i couldnt stay away for long. after mangling the first part and f'ing up my speed sensors ($400 lesson learned) im having another set made and im taking it to the tuning shop to have it done right this time lol. if all goes well within a month i will have this solved.

Interesting. Are you having the spacer made differently this time?
At first thought, I would think once you tightened the axle nut, it would hold them in place between the axle and steering knuckle, but as the car moves, the axle potentially could have some play so it could pull the axle away from the steering knuckle/spacer, causing the spacer to shift. I would think they would have to be a tight fit to avoid this from happening again.
