Default How many GS owners have uneven rear tire wear?...

No matter how many alignments or balancing, my car seems to still have that problem when fitted with the 17's. Any feedback?

Uneven as in choppy or uneven as in inside worn? Any drop on this vehicle?

Default .

I work at my local lexus dealer and from what i hear (EVERY damn day from our TECHS) the GS is one of the MOST DIFFICULT cars to align in the rear....to do it with having even a REMOTE chance of everything zero'ing out its a 2 man job...... something to do with something sliding out of proper position while tightening....damn i sound like a fool. It took 2 of our mechanics about an hour and a half (and a few pitchers *AFTER the job*) to do the back alone. i wish i knew more about the technical aspects but to sum it all it, its a BEEYOTCH

I've taken my to three different alignment shops and each time took about 3-4 hrs(front/rear). Yep I saw two guys working on the back.

NYC Max,
I don't think its just the 17s...I've had 17s and 20s and both had inside wear problems. I think one member here worked out a deal to get lifetime alingment and got it done every 3k miles... Do a search for TXSTYLE. I think it was him.
