Well..tires won't wear as much if you dont drive that big pimpin ride 400 miles a day! ..J/k...alignment should really be done whenever you adjust drop height of car..

In fact, why not kill two birds with one stone and take the car in for an alignment and play with the ride height while it is on the aligment machine? Probably wouldn't be able to do it at Costco but a good suspension shop shouldn't have any problem with working with you a bit to get a better balance of alignment for tire wear vs drop. Just a thought.

A,

In order to slow down the effects of negative camber wear, "flip" your tires. Take the rims off the car, take the tires off the rims, then flip the tire around to the other direction, then install the tires on the opposite side of the car.

A good way to extend tire life, especially with you having a staggered set up.

thanx. i need 2 lift this thing a little cus it starting 2 make a lot louder road noise. my shop guys is real cool, he should b a ble 2 do what u mentioned. when i got the coilovers put in i had a finger gap in the front now they r tucked, i gues they fnally settled. but if i left her again 2 a finger gao will it settle again and throw the alignment off again...

A,

Maybe that whoo whoo sound is because your wheels need a balance (bumps and stuff can throw it off). Also they may be slightly warped on the inside from bumps. Do you hear that sound at 15-20 mph?

well as long as you like the current height, go do an alignment. that's what i do. keep on adjusting the coils until i like it and then i will do an alignment

Hey buddy, bring that beast over and lets get it done before your tires go to crap. I can do it anytime for you .
Did you get the camber kit ? If I remember right your camber adjustment is now maxed out, correct? It would not hurt to invest in the kit for the front. Let me know either way. Call me at the shop today!

hey blue

welcome to the world of pole position so3 my friend and i run the exact same set up and i have found depending on outside ambient temp and humid the tires will make the noise louder if the temps and humid are up ,,, when surface temps drop lets say around 80 and below they tend to quiet down.. but the poles tend to get louder as they wear in ..and the neg camber does not help it either.. i did the flip thing up at Good roads place on commerial blvd (by the way they have the hunter mach and those guys know haow to exract a perfect bal every time,, if you go ask for pete , hes the bald headed kid , he really takes his time just tell him you will take care of him after)
