Replacing IS250 base with 2nd gen IS350 brakes
Do you guys think Replacing the IS250 base model brakes with 2nd gen IS350 brakes will work? to my understanding there the exact same brakes that are on the 3rd gen is250 F-sport.

I just did it, its pretty much a direct swap, just be prepared to cut the majority of your dust shield to make room for the bigger Rotors and breaks.
ALSO BEWARE
you will need 5mm wheel spacers to clear the rims. atleast for my TSW chicanes 19x8.5 with +40 offset.

IS350 (front) brakes are the same for 2006-2017, they are also used on the 2016-2017 IS300 and IS200t. The IS250 never used these brakes. They will clear any OE 2006+ 17-inch or larger wheels, and yes they are bolt on to any 2006+ IS (excluding the IS F without changing the wheel hubs). The only caveat being that if you have an AWD you need to make sure you get the right rotors.
