What about lowering just the front to fix neg rake look?
I think the rear stock height looks fine IMHO and just want the front slightly lowered so what do y'all think about just installing springs in the front for a subtle drop using Fsport or Tein Springs (I have an AWD IS350 on stock 18" rims)? Would it throw anything off by not doing the rears as well? Or would it give an obvious positive rake look? I dont think so since it would under an inch drop upfront with those springs upfront.

This is a great question. I just finished installing 19's on my 2016 IS 350 F Sport rwd and think the negative rake appears more obvious then stock. I'm looking at spring options and have considered F Sport, RS*R or something similar. A 1" drop in the back would mean that I need a 2 - 2 1/2" drop in the front to appear balanced. Coilovers would fix this but at a cost! So thinking to leave back stock and drop front about 1 - 1 1/4" this is what RS*R advertises. 1.2 for front.

It should be fine for daily driving. But if you're picky, the front will be even more front-biased than it is already (for example BMW's newest 3-Series is closer to 51/49 but I think the Lexus is a bit more front heavy so by shifting even MORE weight to the front by lowering it more, you're making that balance ever so worse) and depending on what spring you get, you'll likely have noticeably more stiffness in the front. stiff/heavy in front=slightly more understeer.
For daily driving and hard parking, you'd probably never notice. But if you're picky and want good handling and notice stuff, then you'll want to use components that are designed as a set.

I'm just assuming that I won't have a problem with 2 different sets of springs since they're both from RS*R anyway. The spring rates of the down & half down for the front are 5.48kg/mm & 4.60kg/mm respectively.
