Default When to replace brake lines

I have an 06 IS350 with only 50k miles on it. I am replacing the pads and rotors soon and painting the calipers. Since I will have the calipers off I thought about adding SS lines but did my research and found the OEM are better. Would 50k miles be too early to replace the lines with new OEM lines?

And if so does anyone have a good place to find the OEM lines online.

Thanks

Where you're in Arizona, your lines are probably still good. Inspect 'em and if you find any cuts or bruises then replace, otherwise leave 'em alone. I hope you will be bleeding and replacing with quality fluid. I've found Earl's Solo Bleeders make the job easier.

I suppose I can go to the dealer and get the lines that day if they are bad. Definitely fully bleeding and replacing all the fluid, no idea what to use though.

There's no need to replace the lines at 50k miles unless they are noticeably worn, dry rotting, leaking etc for some reason.

I Wouldn't think so but the car is 10 years old, that would be my only concern. Since the calipers will be off over night for painting, I'll have plenty of time to swing by the parts department to grab new ones if I need them.

Shoot, my brake lines on my 91 MR2 is still running the original OEM rubber brake lines. They are still getting the job done and do not have any dry rotting and/or cracking, which is surprising since the car only has 85k original miles.

If it brings you peace of mind, go ahead and replace the lines. You might as well since you're bleading the brakes.
