Default New Coils... Opinions?

Hello all!
Need some new coilovers. I am currently on JIC Magics, they have been great but are blown out now (~30K) and a little too stiff for a daily\limited track use car.
Looking at Fortune Auto and BC Racing. 12/10K spring rates.

What are you thoughts between these two... any other choices you would like to recommend?

Thanks!
-Jake

Had the fortune auto 500 series 14k/12k on my car for 10K+ miles before I sold the car. I loved it. As a comparison, I had the BCRacing coilovers 10k/8k on my car before and the fortune auto coils drove a lot smoother and were much more solid when I hit bumps. The BCR bottomed out a lot almost all the time for me and never felt as solid.

HI PlatES300

Do you think it could be the difference in your spring rates? you went from Stock (10\8) to a mildly more aggressive 14\12..

Did you have the "extreme drop kit" BC's? Hoe do they compare as far as how low you can go on each?
Thank you very much for your input.

Maybe the spring rates made a difference but I had the car dumped. I also ran 30mm RCA in both the front and rears while on both coilovers so I could lay bumper. I had the regular BC and not the extreme drop. The locking rings on the fortune auto were better than the BC's IMO. I also opted for fortune auto because they can be rebuilt in the US and turn around time is quick from what I've been told.

We installed the Extreme Low kit with 20" rims. Rides great with 10k/8k with BC springs for a daily. So far the owner's happy with the purchase.
The higher rate you go, the stiffer it'll be for a daily. The more you want to 'slam' the car, the higher rate you want so car will not bottom out, which means it will be a stiff ride.
