Caster bushings

Caster bushings
I've heard good things about PSB when it comes to caster bushings. I believe they are the ones that sewell used to sell. I just want to make sure these are the correct ones I need before I order for my 98 GS400.
Also, lifetime warrenty

To those that say go to figs, I've read they give a harsh ride and for the price, I can buy brand new OEM arms.

You would need to check your build date on the drivers side door and here are the correct # based on your date.

Also, I don't believe I need to reuse the inner sleeve with these right? Just the outer?

If you have a 98 those are the wrong bushings. You need the 536 ones and yes you just use the outer sleeves that are on the caster arms. You would hammer out the center and burn the remaining rubber out before cleaning and pressing in the new bushings. They are directional so don't press them in upside down. Btw its a pita getting those arms back into place once the polys in there. Have a set of pry bars ready.

I think I'll go with these, just need to find a way to press them out/burn off the remaining rubber.

I've read that some uses with the PSB are having issues, most are fine though.
Anyone else run PSB?

If the PSB bushings are anything like the Daizens I had (same design, perhaps different hardness), then it won't ride any better than the polyurethane FIGS. Bushings like the PSB and Daizen have a limited degree of movement so you end up with a harsher ride and lower life expectancy. They'll work if you're at stock height and your roads are smooth as glass, but any hint of suspension movement and those bushings will deform. The FIGS is less harsh because it allows the control arm to pivot, just like OEM. They'll last longer and will not be noisey like those other bushings. I made the switch couple years ago and it's well worth it, especially if you're going through all that trouble to replace the bushings (FIGS were a breeze compared to the Daizen). If your car is lowered, then these will work even better than OEM.
