Default Rotors

Well my brakes are finally gone. Just ordered EBC greenstuff pads and was thinking about changing my rotors to X-drilled and slotted. Any sugestions in to which rotors I should look for?

nothing beats brembo by a lot, but the price is prohibitive. for a cheap solution, get some racetech from steve, or a supraTT setup for a real upgrade

Just a couple pages back, I posted exactly what you are looking for.

First I would like to thank everyone for their responses. Those are the rotors that I want exactly. If you dont mind me asking how much did just the rotors cost you? Are those brembos? Like I said, I am already getting the EBC pads for the front and back so I just need the rotors.

from my research .. and it wasnt too much research. i hear rotors really dont do anything.. especially if you dont race. i say stick with pads and SS lines for best performance.. BUT if u r goin for rotors.. ENDLESS! thats what i have.. gotta look good also right www.endlessusa.com

Ice,

It really depends on your budget. For me, brake is the number 1 priority and I am not willing to save a little money for a less quality rotor. There are plenty of name brands for rotors, Bradi, Brembo, Race Tech, Race Concept, Endless, Apex, Project mu, TRD, and the list goes on. I have personally tried Brembo and TRD and I highly recommend Brembo rotors for its price and performance. Endless is another top brand which again, if budget is no issue, go for them.

Went to a local shop today to see if they could get me Brembo rotors. They told me though that brembo rotors only come cross drilled and not slotted. The picture above in which you say are brembos are cross drilled and slotted. Just wondering if thoses are new or does this guy not know what he is talking about? Also do the brembo rotors have and problems working with the oem calipers and factory 17" rims? I am hoping to change my rotors to brembos with ebc greenstuff pads and paint my oem calipers, what you you think?

Dex,

Never knew you have a website. By the way, do you know where I can buy Yellow Top?

Yellow Tops are pretty easy to find. Most local a/p stores are carrying them now. Call around to yours, and see what kind of prices you can get. Some of the national chains are carrying Red Tops; I've seen them myself.

Brembo makes OEM sized:
regular rotors
cross drilled rotors
slotted rotors
Big brake kits.

Please clarify this for me. Does Brembo actually make the slotted and/or cross-drilled OEM size rotors or just the blank rotors and the shop did the work themselves? The reason I'm asking is that I know some shops that sell blank Brembo rotors and they do whatever their customer want to do whether it's cross-drilled, slotted or dimple.
