is250AWD front brake upgrades/replacements
So I was informed by my alignment shop (when they saw the car) and dealership that my front pads and rotors for my 250awd need to be replaced. The straight option is "go OEM everywhere!!!!" but I'd like to venture elsewhere; brake lines, pads, etc.... rotors will be oem though.
So I'm about to pull the trigger on OEM left and right rotors for my 250 awd... Are the rotors rwd / awd dependent or do all 250's use the same ones up front?
Was also going to pick up some Stoptech ss brake lines... are those awd compatible (does it matter?)
And finally a pair of stoptech brake pads... Or any recommendations?
I'm quite elementary when it comes to brakes, so forgive my basic questions!
Thanks

For the AWD, you need to get AWD specific rotors.
As far as I know, no application of stainless steel lines can be used for the AWD (though I don't see why not).
Akebono is a popular brand for pads on these forums for low dust. Otherwise, OEM pads are always a safe bet.

talked to a vendor on here and will be getting the ss lines. apparently they're usable on all 2is's. looks like I'm going with stoptech pads as well as they seem to be recommended for their bite and similar oem longevity. Dust isnt a concern too much for me as pad life is more my concern + i wash my car almost weekly!
For the oem rotors, I'm still trying to find the "awd" rotors parts number for the front.

I decided to just default to oem rotors and pads! Found an american lexus dealer who had a rotor and pad package on ebay for sale with part #'s that matched what I was told to look for from my local lexus dealer.
For my Canadian 2009 Lexus IS250 AWD,
Rotors: 43512-30310
Pads: 0446553040
