Hi All,

I'm current using the 225/40/18 size on my 2006 IS250 AWD back a front tires. Instead of purchasing the same 225/40/18 size, i ordered the 255/40/18 tires size by mistake. I know the IS250 RWD tires use 255/40/18 size.

What I would like to know is will the 255/40/18 tires size rub or damage the awd system in any way ?

255/40/18 will not fit on the front of the is250 awd or rwd...The is250 rwd uses the 255/40/18 on the rear only, and the 225/40/18 on the front.

Mike, Thanks. Would it be appropriate or safe to the AWD system if I use the 255/40/18 size tires on the rear and keep the front tires size 225/40/18 ? Basically, similar configuration to the RWD.

Well a 255 will fit just it will rub when you turn which would be annoying over time. with out the fender liner you will be fine, with it, it will rub
