Are KWv3 rebuildable? And if so how much are the replacement shocks? Do you also have to send the shocks back to factory or you can just do it yourself like the case with BCR coils?
^Bingo! Just just for example, instead of getting the standard 10k/8k BCR setup, some go with a 14k/12k setup instead. That would be like what you'd be doing with those IS-F KWs. But IDK if you care for such a spring rate. Are you wanting a very compliant, DD-friendly ride quality or a more sporty, weekend racer-friendly rate?
^I have 12k/8k currently and yes, it is a very DD-friendly setup; however, I now wish I had went with a 14k/10k setup for my driving style. I like to keep the rear on the softer side to help with traction and wheel hop.
Yeah 12k/8k is very DD-friendly. I like the rear to be on stiffer side to reduce understeer and the tendency to do power oversteer drifting. That is why 12k/10k instead of 12k/8k. I like 2k gap more than 4k gap.
14k/10k I think is very good for handling. You keep contemplating on this already, when will you pull the trigger
