As an FYI it sounds like you are looking for a full ceramic pad. They dust much less and the dust that they do have is more white in color.

Keep in mind that ceramic pads do not offer the bite/performance of your OEM pads which have some ceramic. The performance of the OEM pads is actually quite high.

When it comes to brakes, you have to sacrifice performance for low dust if that is your desire. A higher performance pad will dust more and has the potential to be a bit noisier as well.

Akebono makes a full ceramic front pad for about $45 a pair.

Yup, I agree. Despite the fact that OEM f-sport pads are dusty they do perform extremely well. In fact, I just ordered the front f-sport pads from sewell. I am very happy with stock brakes overall, which cant be said to many cars. Brakes is one of the 3IS' high points.

I went with EBC Redstuff. All the bite, none of the dust.

+1 for the Akebono.I put them on my last car, and the brake dust issue disappeared and I did not notice any drop in bite from the OEM BMW brake pads.

Assuming your car is a 2014 or 2015 IS350 the following is the part number

Akebono ACT1118

It is a low dust OE formula ceramic pad. You can find it at rockauto by selecting your car. They are less than $50 per pair.

Keep in mind it is not a performance pad. It is a low dust pad. They dont go hand in hand. It is fine for daily driving and spirited driving. Dont do a lap day with it.

You gotta look up as the 2nd gen IS350. They use the same pads as the 3rd gen IS350.
