Don't know whether to go with coil overs or regular coil springs. Just picked up the vehicle the other day and I love everything about it except the 4x4 height. I live in Houston so I want to lower it but not slam it to where I scrape on everything. What are the pros and cons of each?

^^ Right? But seriously take a look at the suspension Sticky at the the top. Use the advanced search button...its ur friend. Itll take some time for research but you should be doing that anyway with any mod you throw on. Happy modding

I'm sorry I don't have the luxury of effortlessly wasting time like some people. But thanks for the help I wanted to get peoples opinions who may not have posted in the stickie but that's cool

Hey just ignore the other guys haha. In short, I would say get a set of coilovers such as the Megan EZ Street (500-700), Megan LP Street (750-1000), or the BCR coilovers (1000-1400). Springs will only wear out your stock shocks and believe me, you will not want to deal with that headache. Coilovers will allow you to choose how low you'd like to go at any time as well as choose how stiff or soft the ride will be. I hope this helps!

If you go on the springs route you can choose between f-sport springs for OEM performance 1'' drop front and .8'' at the rear. Slightly on the firm side with a decent drop to minimize the gap 2 fingers all around.
For a near stock like ride you can go with H-techs or Swift Sport springs for a .8" drop all around. But nearest to stock comfort, with slight lowering and performance, giving you a nice look also. These two sets are design to work with your stock shocks due to the slight lowering and softer spring rates
some sample pics with tein h-tech springs
