Question about custom/modded front UCA
For the guys who are running custom or modified front UCA what exactly are you guys doing? Cutting the actual arm shorter? I was told it was to help achieve more camber in the front to run a wider wheel. I'm just preparing myself before i end up not having enough negative camber to achieve the 10.5 -3 offset for my fronts.

I am running the Megan UCA in mine. I am not lowered a bunch (about a finger gap) and installed them so I could get the camber needed for my track time. Maxed out I was about -3 deg in camber. Currently running -2. For my setup I could adjust it from about 0 to -3 degrees. If you are lower you will obviously be able to get a bit more camber depending on how low you go. All in all I am very happy with them. Easy swap.

No need to build your own arms. There are three mainstream solutions to get more negative camber up front. Megan Racing upper control arms, SPC adjustable ball joints, or FIGS offset bushings.
Of the three solutions I like Megan Racing arms, so that is what I have:
I believe they give you a little more adjustment range vs SPC joints, and they don't require the UCA to be removed to adjust camber like the FIGS bushings. You won't get -3 degrees from any of these solutions at stock ride height. Lower the car ~2 inches in front and I think any of them will give you the -3 degrees you are looking for.
10.5" wheels are way wider than what I would consider, so I'll let someone else adress the rest of the mods to make that work.

I am currently running -4.5 degrees of front camber with the Megan UCA.
Looking to go more negative, with a new wheel setup. so I am going to cut out one row of allen screws to shorted the platform the ball joint is on.
Will be posting pics on my build thread.
I really want to get the T-demand front UCA and shorter knuckles to stop the arm from hitting the top of the wheel well, but those are bread. So well see what happens.
