Default Need help with False floor and notch frame

Hey guys, I'm looking to do a false floor or preferably a wall for my air tank and compressors. Any tips on doing this? What tools and material is needed? Also have anyone notched frame for the front ball joints?

Are you taking about a 2IS here? False floor in the trunk I'd assume? Not sure what you mean or are trying to do by notching the frame for ball joints. Perhaps you mean cutting a hole in the upper shock tower to allow room for the moving UCA on a seriously LOW IS?

Sorry man, I shouldve been more specific. 07 AWD IS250. and yes I guess I meant cutting a hole in the upper tower to get my fronts lower. and yes false floor in the trunk for air.

About the cutting, it's pretty straightforward. Just triple-check where you're cutting for any fluid/electrical lines.

Don't go ahead with hole in the strut tower UNTIL you know for sure that you need to. So wait until you're bagged and slam it. I've not read about other 2IS owners having to cut this hole before; but not to say that they don't. It's just better to wait until you know for sure that you'll need to do it.

BTW, have you read about the problems that 2IS AWD owners have with lowering their cars?
