Is250 awd 50,000miles + h&r springs ?
I plane to put h&r springs to lower and have a firm ride all around. My is250 has 50,000 miles on it. I was planning to just replace the stock springs with h&r and keep the stock shocks. How long (estimate) would the stock shocks last with the h&r springs Till I would have to replace them? I second guess that I should just replace both shock and spring..
If I do so should I get f sport shocks? KYB shocks? ...?
Any recommendation and input is greatly appreciated. Thanks guys

they say the stock struts should be able to handle it BUT but stock struts can really can go so low before it blows. By the time you spend money on struts and sprints, its going to be almost the same price as buying megan coilovers

Thanks. I just want to lower my awd just enough to get rid of the wheel gap and alittle firm handling compared to what it is. And Iv seen the H&r drop on awd and looks good to me. I wl probably you the stock shocks.

it will lower your car but handling at high speeds isn't great. The shocks arnt made for those springs. if you want to firm things up BC Racing coilovers with higher spring rates are the way to go. Better yet load them up with swift springs. I had h&r on stock struts and megan ez's. Although they have a great drop, I didn't feel that the suspension is quite firm and stable.
