Rear sway bar end links

Rear sway bar end links
Today I was planning to change my rear sway bar end links, and replace the sway bar bushings with polyurethane. I did the bushings first and could tell the bar was much more solid right away.
I removed one of the end links and realized my new end links actually have a lot more play in the ball joint than the original ones. I was just wondering if anyone here has changed the rear end links before, and how much play did your replacement ones have?
