Default VSC light and Check engine light on

Had my son change the brake pads front and rear on her '07 IS250 AWD. On the second day the VSC and check engine lights came on, there is snow on the ground and it's cold out.

Any ideas?

Thanks

JC

VSC comes on anytime check engine comes on.

Check engine can come on for literally anything from "you are about to need a new engine" to "You forget to tighten your gas cap"

Best way to diagnose further is this:

1) Check the gas cap is tight. If not- tighten. If it is, move on to step 2.

2) Get the codes scanned to see the actual trouble code causing the CEL. Autozone type places will often scan and report these to you for free.

Ensure that the connectors to the back of each of the hubs are connected tight.
