Squeeks
I am having a new squeek when I hit bumps. It could be possibly due to the severe cold here. I have seen some old threads stating it means I have bad shocks, do you all think this is the case?
Thanks

See what worked for me here:

I know it's tough to describe, but when you say squeek is it high pitch or a creaking noise lower pitched?

I too have the L-tuned setup. i'm having the same problem, it started when the temp drop to around 40 deg and now that's colder in chicago, It has become louder.
Question on lubing bushings. Would that create more of a squeek?

Nope, squeak would (temporarily) go away. T/L sway bar bushings, esp, seem to dry/shrink slightly after 2-3 years. Lubing takes care of it for awhile, but replacement is eventually necessary (from noise standpoint). Reasonably cheap, as Lexus service goes.

I have had a squeak in my front passenger side wheel well for about a month now. I just found out it was the L-Tuned shock and is covered under their warranty...should have a new one in next week.

I've started having a squeeking noise from the right rear. I tried greasing the TRD bushings. It did no good. Dealer also tried with no luck. They felt the bushings were too small for the TRD Sways. I have e-mailed Carson Toyota to see if there are other bushings available other than those that came with the kit.

Are you guys sure it is the bushing?? That is what they thought was causing the problem on my car, but like I said, it ended up being the shock. It still performed without a problem, but it just made a squeaking noise when I went over small bumps.
