love the front 12k configuration but im debating on dropping back to 8k in the rear. i feel like the springs dont compress enough. anyone else dealing with a quick reaction over bumps from the rear on 12/10 setup?

I'm on 12/10 and sometimes I want to go with a 10/8 setup.

I just ordered the standard BC 10k/8k setup as it comes from the factory ... No swift spring upgrade.

I figured if people are slamming their cars on Megan LPs (Which are in reality also 10k/8k as stamped on the coil over) with no problem I shouldn't have any issues with the BCs as I'm not slamming my car

Im running 16k/11k on k-sport coils and find the rears travel too much,

so Im thinking of putting 20k in the rear or

putting 20k front 16k rear

Lol wow. I'd love to see a GoPro vid of your car rolling, preferably with the camera man beside you in another car. That sounds ridiculously stiff.

I have BC coils with 12/10 Swift springs. I rub on big dips up front so I think I need to stiffen them up (I think they're set to 8 or 10 clicks from full soft). But I absolutely love how they ride.

I just installed a set of BC's with Swift 12/10K springs. I actually like the ride more than stock in 95% of my driving. The only places that I really notice the spring rates are in speed bumps or the crappy washboard LA freeways. Almose feel I could have put 14K springs up front and been happy.

Yup that's exactly how I feel lol. What are your fronts set to for stiffness?

Still playing around with settings but currently the fronts are right in the middle at 16 with the rear being 5 clicks softer.

Maybe I should try 8K in the rear then. And does Swift springs make any huge difference? If not I would get the regular stock springs.

I have 12/10 on my BC and honestly I love it. It's great in Florida for all conditions...not bouncy not too stiff N perfect for doing 100 on the highway. My boy has 14/10 N his drive pretty great as well. I think 10/8 is way too soft

Yeah he's just answering a question I asked.

I agree, I think 10/8 would be too soft. I used to have 10/8 hyperco springs on the coilovers for my Accord, and I would always bottom out the midpipe area when I'd go over speedbumps at regular speed. The IS is at the same height my Accord was, and I don't scrape anything even if I'm going a little faster than I should be over a speedbump. I think 12/10 is better for the street in most scenarios.
