I hate Pohanka! They just don't really care. I reciently (last Thursday) needed some clips for my door and Lindsay Lexus matched sewell's dirt cheap prices. They also had the parts ordered by 3pm so they came the next day! Next time holla at them. They may match Sewell's prices and if they do you get the parts next day. I told them to sponsor CL so I don't feel guilty going to them.
Anyway how tough is a brake flush, I'm at 50k? Maybe it could be a super monster garage jam session...

I did mine brake pads all around and rear rotors for $180.
Then the brake flush for some reason lexus quoted me $140 so i just went with the local shop and got it done for $99.

i was also quoted for about 900 at the dealership for a front brake job replacing rotors and pads.
the front brakes on is350 are fixed calipers, so they are the easiest system to replace imo. just replaced my front rotors and pads this past sunday. stoptech rotors for about 220 total, and akebono pads from amazon about 90 ish.
i would prefer hawk hps, but they don't make it for the front, only for the rear. went with akebono for their low dust property. the oem dust crazy pads are super dirty, but they do clean up easily (wear a mask, that stuff gets everywhere), more than some of the other aftermarket compounds i've tried.
for all the reasons kurtz said, it's what u should do... i change them every 2 or 3 years, regardless of mileage.

I believe our service manual calls for a fluid flush ever 2-3 years or 30K miles. So that part isn't too unreasonable I think.
But $900 (why do you people keep rounding down to $800? haha, you're exactly why everything is priced at $9.99 instead of $10) is WAAAY too much for a brake job. Even if you don't do it yourself, you can do WAY better than that, especially if you buy the parts yourself.
Same thing for a $175 fluid flush. Both are downright criminal prices to charge.
Also, you might not even need new rotors.
