Default Rotational noise after replacing rotors and pads?

I had all four rotors and brake pads replaced today and unfotunatley I now have a metallic rubbing noise when the car is moving. The rotors are standard brembo and the pads are oem Lexus. The car seems to bake fine but the sound is extremely annoying. I have not gone back to the shop that did the work yet hoping that maybe the noise will go away after some driving. Can anyone tell me if this is normal or is this a problem?

I bet he forgot the springs that keep the pads apart when the brakes are not applied. There are 2 of them per wheel they go in small holes in the edge of the pad they have a V shape withe ends bent

Common mistake people make when doing brakes is that they accidentally bend the splash guard. That is what causing the grinding noise. Unbend the splash guard to that it doesn't touch the rotors.

I was standing and watchIng the whole time and it appeared like he replaced everything the way it was before. If the sound does not go away in a few days then I will take the car back and have him trouble shoot.

By splash guard do you mean dust shield?

So i went back to the repair shop and they told me that this is normal and should go away after a few weeks of driving. We shall see...

Yeah a lot of times the backing plate/dust shield/whatever the hell you want to call it will bend and just slightly touch the rotor as there is not much tolerance between the two..

It happens a lot..I wouldnt say your car making a metal to metal noise after a brake job is "normal" and damn sure shouldnt be there for a "few weeks"!!!

Iot could be one of the cups holding the rear brakedrum. I had this happen to me when I tried to remove the rear rotor without adjusting the drum.
