A lot of sc300 people run this with there LS400 bbk. I had them for almost 3 years slotted/drilled and they were good.

In my opinion-
R1's are probably the worst thing out there. They began as an Fleabay seller only a few short years ago. Looked to me like it was just a few folks with a small garage cutting and drilling Chinese blanks on an in-house cutter. If I recall, their research department consisted of "a few of our friends"

I recommend you buy a known brand rather than a Fleabay marketer. Start with a few sites that carry trusted brands like Jegs or Summitracing. From there you will be much better equipped to spot those "too good to be true" deals.

i think brake pad been discuss on here numerous of time....drill slotted/ slotted is for looks only and only good if your going to track the car...but many people will tell you to just get blank and a good set of pad and call it a day so its your choice... i had R1 on my honda before and never had a problem yes it does eat the pad much faster and yes they do crack but i don't track my car for them to get hot enough to crack but i love how they look...=)

here some stoptech one on fleabay

There are a few other forums that I visit who highly recommend them. I personally have no experience with them (positive or negative) but I plan to purchase from them when its time to do the brakes on my 350.

I would not recommend their "house brand" of pads or rotors, but anything brand name you'll be fine with.

BTW, got an email from them; they are having some sales today!

I track my miata with Duralast rotors and EBC Yellowstuffs pads. They work like a charm and didn't have any fading at the end of the day.

Slotted rotors on street use are for looks only. Better save some money on good tires, which are more important.

Get Duralast rotors and EBC Greenstuffs pads for street use. Just my 2 cents.
