Question about my Lexus gs300 lowering springs
Okay I have a question about my car. I am driving a lexus gs300 with 20" rims 20x8.5 and 20x10 and I plan on lowering my car. I was on eBay looking at Megan lowering racing springs over the techS and coilovers because its cheaper, it said that it would lowering the Front by 1.9" and the Rear by 2". My lexus gs300 front is very high like 3 inches off the tires and the rear is about 2 inches. So I decided to measure how it would look, the front would look perfect but the rear would be touching the tire. How would I fit the springs in if the rear is going to touch the tire? Sorry i'm a newbie at cars and I am willing to learn. Please leave comment Thanks!

Welcome to CL. I see you are a new poster.
My advice is to simply leave the factory-spec suspension/wheels/tires alone. The less you screw around with factory-settings and design (which are put on the car for a reason), the fewer potential problems you are likely to have, and, on top of that, the less chance of voiding the warranty.

^^^what warranty? I'm sure most/all 2nd gen GS's are out of warranty unless it's a certified vehicle.
You can use coil spacers to hold the rear end up. That's what I do when I have 2-300 pounds of car audio in the trunk and it starts to sag lower than the front.

You guys, of course, can do what you want, but in most cases, I'm a firm believer in leaving cars as they are. Cars are usually designed as they are, by well-trained engineers, for good reasons, though I admit that engineers are sometimes prevented from using the best-quality parts by company bean-counters.
