Smile Is250 awd on 20's

Hey guys new to be a member but not to the forums, I've been browsing around looking through hundreds of threads around here for quite some time now just reading up on peoples rides, so on and so on.

I have a 06 is250 awd on Vossen Vvs-cv1's 20x9 all around +38 offset on 235/30/20 tires. Beautiful rims, big thanks to vossen for a peice of work!

As it sits now i believe the front is 27.75" GTF and 27.5" GTF for the rear, yeah its quite high

front sits flush with the fender and the rear surprisingly nearly flush too.

I want to get lowering springs that would give me a nice drop without having to worry about my cv boots ripping on me, AND something that wouldn't be too low when my rims come off for the winter up here in Canada, as i do plan on coils and a full vertex lip kit the following year.

Will I rub in the front with a 1.5" drop? or do I need to mod fender? What Lowering springs do you guys recommend?

I say go with coilover and not do the spring at all. It will still sit higher in the front with after market spring. With coil you can set it to were it wont rub. No need for fender mods.

Coilovers may saver you in the long run since they allow ride height adjustment, you can never know for sure how a spring combo will sit with aftermarket wheels.
