The 98-00 16" oem SC wheels do fit, but you need at least a 20mm spacer AND you must use the clip on style wheel weights instead of the more commonly used tape style weights when the wheels are balanced as it's a tight fit.
^^^You might wanna start a new thread, because this thread clearly says LS brakes.

You guys both have good points, no need for misunderstanding and disagreement... On the one hand, alternatives to LS400 kits are very relevant to a thread on upgrading stock SC brakes. On the other hand, starting a new thread makes sense so that information doesn't get lost in a thread where people are only looking for LS info.

Ah so it CAN be done! I have a LS setup sitting in the garage, just cant fit them without spacers or other wheels..

You'll need a spacer for them to fit. I think 15mm is the bare minimum, but 20mm would be better.
Clip on weights are a must. Clip on weights "clip on" to the face of the rim. They're commonly used on steel rims.
The other type of wheel weight is tape weights that are glued on to the back inside the barrel of the rim. Tape weights will hit the brake caliper during rotation, so it doesn't work.
