Adjustable Suspension components for GS cars
Hey, fellas, I was searching for a good Lexus Racing Car wallpaper for my PC and stumbled on the following article:
www.levelten.com/pdf/grass_08_00_team_lexus.pdf
There are two pieces of information here that may be of interest
(Team Lexus uses the the services of two companies):
1) Performance Transmission Systems (in NJ, I think) to give driver more control when shifting with Auto tranny. Also, it says that Team Lexus experienced persistent transmission failure, due to a plastic thrust washer that was failing under high temperature conditions. They replaced the plastic part with a brass one to solve this problem. - Just thought someone might want to know (although, in retrospect, street-driven Lexi will not experience this, and people that road-race them already know probably).
2) Suspension work is done by a European company called Pro Track. I bet they make some adjustable components (camber plates, etc.) for Team Lexus, plus urethane bushings and other goodies.
I tried searching for this company (Pro Track) on the web, but came up empty (so far).
Does anyone know about them? Are their parts available to the general public?
