Here they are.

Guy said they need to use my bushings from my shock assembly.

What else do I need to look for? I don't want to buy a bargain if its gonna cost me a fortune in the long run.

He claims there's 15,000 miles on it.

he meant you have to reuse your top hat because those Teins do not come with their own from the factory.

There is nothing else in short of putting them on the shock dyno to verify it works well. Even though they only have 15k miles, it could mean 15k of easy riding or 15k of slamming down to the ground driving over bad road.

How much are you getting it for? if you're paying any more than $600, then I would just spend a bit more for a brand new set of BC Racing or another entry level coil.

^ Putting them on a shock dyno would help the most..

Another thing you can do to test is that you remove the top hat and push the shock down and see if it comes up slowly if it does than it might be close to being blown. If it rebounds fast then it should be good. Also check for any leaks

check for clean threads , so u know they are still adjustable and leaks fronts tend to go bad first

15k on teins are a bit much IMO, Chances are they are probably blown already.

When i had my miata I have probably 4-5 track days on them and about 6-7k miles street driving and 3 of the 4 were blown. Now that was about 3 or so years ago and tein may have changed but i doubt it.

ive bought coilovers used in the past and have learned the hard way that when dealing with suspension parts, its way better to save up and buy new.

if you really must, check if dampening works, if anything leaks, if coils are seized, check for clean threads, make sure it spins up and down
