How the hell are cars dumped without rubbing fenders??
I am curious to know how people can dump their cars and not have a problem with the tires/wheels rubbing the front fenders?
I am on 20x8.5 in front with 225/35/20 tires and after rolling the fenders, it still rubs. Therefore, I trimmed/shave the fenders, still rubs....got an alignment with the camber to the max...still rubs.
My brother took my car out and wanted to see how much it was rubbing and I dont know what he did but the tire ate up my fender and now its all bad.
Any tips on what I should do?
Heres a pic of my car:
Heres the messed up fender
btw, I am looking for 2 new fenders if anyone has em for sale!
Thanks in advanced fellas

Ouch, looks like he turned going up an incline.
I'm not an expert on aggressive fitments but your wheels don't look that aggressive to me; what's the offset? Smaller tires or raise it a little might be your best options, someone else should be able to give a more informed opinion.

I never got around to checking what the offsets of these rims are cause I got em off my buddy.
I always drive straight up driveways to prevent em from rubbing but what my brother did was busted a u-turn, and the tire just ate up the fender.
do offsets play a big role in this issue?

I got one word for ya.....offsets! if you have the correct offsets, you dont need to stretch tires or pull fenders. My HRE's are 20x9 and 20x11. Im running a 305/25 rear tire, tires tucked slightly, zero rubbing.
I am going to raise it back up tomorrow though, it would be nice to be able to get into my driveway without putting 2x4's in front of it!

I gotta check the offsets on these rims...
jokster, it rubs only when turning. Trust me, I take good care of my cars and I take my turns slowly when I know my car is rubbing.
spyder, im on full megan coils. I actually tried adjusting the stiffness and softness but im not having that problem.
I am starting to think that the offset on these rims are probably why they're rubbing when Im turning, even after shaving the fenders...

Im not having an issue with the spring rates. only issue is tire rubbing when turning. I've seen many people with 20s and wider front tires who dont rub but I have no idea why my car is doing this. Does anyone know if the offsets are stated on the inside of the rims?
