suspension squeaks over uneven road surfaces/bumps
I have a 97 sc400 with 90k. It sounds like my rear suspension squeaks real bad when I drive over bumps and rough roads when im going slow. Ive been told its the control arms or bushings. Has anyone had this problem before? If so how did you fix it? And If you needed to buy parts where did you buy them? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also do you think if I would just grease or lube up the bushings it would stop this squeaking?

If you are comfortable with doing this yourself, you can visually inspect the bushing and make sure nothing is cracked or loose. Check upper and lower control arm bushings, sway bar end links, sway bar sub frame mounts and while you're doing that you should check the struts for any leaks.
As far as replacing parts, you could either go to the dealer or online for OEM replacements. If you want to go aftermarket, online would be your best bet. As far as which ones, you'll have to do your research depending on what your plans are for the car down the road.
