I got all 4, but only installed the fronts because the rears were not noisy. I will probably do the rears before I get my next alignment.

Default Same thing with BC Racing

Good information. My BC Racing coils for IS250 are exactly the same. I haven't bothered to contact them yet.

I wonder if there's a DIY solution.

I'm sure if you cut a small portion of the bushing away from both ends of the metal sleeve where the bolt goes through, it should fix the issue. You basically just want the metal sleeve to be wider than the width of the bushing.

Thanks. I will try that. Is there a picture of the bushing/metal sleeve? I want to be 100% sure of what I'm doing.

If you look on page 3 of this thread, you will find a picture of the updated lower bracket. You can see how the bushing tapers off towards the ends of the metal sleeve. You probably don't have to worry about trying to taper your bushing like the new design, just cut about 1/8" or 1/4" of the bushing off.

OP here.

This issue has been addressed by Megan almost 2 years ago. This was an issue with the first production line. but was warranted by Megan and all lower brackets with the old bushing were replaced if you had a squeaking issue.

Hi folks,

I've been chasing a problem for quite a while and I wonder if it could be related to these lower mounts.

I'm on Megan LP that were purchased used and have about 20K miles. I can't confirm when they were originally purchased but I'd imagine it was somewhere in the neighborhood of 1-2hrs ago.

The problem I am experiencing is a faint popcorn popping sound from the rear when going over small bumps at low speed. It's fully described here:

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...ks-due-to.html

Now my question has to do with the sound. The OP describes the sound as a "squeak" but I notice that the video earlier in this thread is no longer available. When you had this problem, could you reproduce it by bouncing the car up and down with your body weight, or was it only audible while on the road?

And it was definitely a "squeek" and not a popcorn type sound?

Thank you.
