Is it all in my head? Advice?
Hey guys so i installed the Megan Racing coilovers on my '01 GS430 and have them nice and low on my 19's, ill take pics later, and while driving the car it definitely feels more flat and solid around corners at moderately low speeds but at higher speeds 60+ the car feels wayyy more unstable than my stock suspension? I feel like when i go over 70 or 80 on the highway the car is just gonna slide out from under me at the slightest tilt of the wheel. also when changing lanes (i guess this is understeer) it feels like the front turns just fine but the rear lags behind and slides into place, I've actually had the little vsc light beep on me a couple times telling me I'm losing traction. I also have brand new tires, Bridgestone Potenza RE050A Pole Positions which is what i had on my stock wheels and they were amazing. Anyone else had this happen? Am i bottoming out from the suspension being to low? any advice?

FYI...ANY coilover needs time to settle. I had a HUGE problem when I first installed my Bilstein PSS coilovers. I felt like almost the rear wheels would hop? (hard to describe). Some members told me to sit tight and let the coils settle over the next few weeks and they were right! Hang out for a while...just make sure you got a good alignment after the coilover install! GL!

Well, I've had the coils on for about a month now, had em on for about 3 weeks with stock wheels and now just over a week with new rims and tires ... The weird thing is, with the stocks it felt like the car handled better? Also I don't know how to explain this but I'll try, when i go to turn the wheel the front of the car reacts very fast and recise but it feels like the rear lags behind it, almost like it's just sliding into place, it feels almost like its hydroplaning, but on dry ground! Even when I'm on the highway going 80+ but trying to stay straight it feels as if there's air under the car or something, it just feels unstable. I need to take some pics so you can see but I think I may just have them too low I dunno.

Sorry my mistake, I didn't mean the actual vsc light, I meant the traction light, when you lose traction the light with the car swirving starts beeping and flashing to let you know vsc is working.

Since you've already had the alignment done, could you post up your specs for me to look at. Next thing you want to do is make sure air pressure is correct all around. Run 35psi in the fronts and 32psi in the rear. Also, is your wheel hubcentric or you need hubcentric rings. If you haven't installed hubcentric rings on your aftermarket wheels, you need to do so for safety. Lastly, if everything checks out like I've recomended above, I would seriously look into the high speed rebound of your coilover valving. Most of the companies overseas design coilovers for the streets over there and not american roads, therefore handling characteristic and valving is different.

-Ok I'm at 36 psi all around right now so I'll lower them a bit
-I have hubcentric rings already installed
-I honestly don't know what high speed rebound for my coilover valving means? What is it, and how do I found out what it is?
