How often is it recommended to get an alignment after lowering a car with coilovers, sways, struts, braces, and camber kits?

Your mechanic will tell you anytime you "touch the suspension" you should get an alignment.
But you need to understand what is part of the suspension geometry. Sways wouldn't be considered part of the suspension geometry.

If you are just replacing an identical part that shouldn't affect the geometry(e.g. change a strut/shock) they may say it's up to you, as the geometry shouldn't have changed, but removing and reinstalling may have shifted things.

If you've changed the geometry then it's definitely recommended.

I recently heard that there are some RCA out there that lower the car 1/2 inch. The Exact RCA's I saw lower the car 1 inch, so I'm a little affraid to get those. If I could find 1/2 RCAs for the front, that would be perfect as it will allow me a little more adjust, plus I am wanting to lower the front of the car just 1/2 inch anyway. Anymore then that and I think I'd rub, expecially since I changed the wheel specs in the fronts to 245/35/20.
