Lowering springs with stock shocks??
Are there any lowering springs that are out there that are ok with stock shocks? I'm not looking to slam the car, just get a little bit better look.
thanks!

Is a difference felt on the street with a shocks/springs/strut bars (front & rear) setup as opposed to a coilovers'/strut bars (front & rear) setup? Also, what are the pros and cons of each setup??

I strongly advise against keeping the OEM shocks when lowering.
I got new OEM shocks when i lowered my GS on Eibachs (modest drop) because i wanted to maintain a smooth ride, but now wish i had gotten something stiffer.
The car is a little bouncy, brake dive has increased since i lowered it (a lot more then stock). The damping is too little, too late. It also feels as if braking performance might have been slightly diminished, but have not done any actual measurements.
I will be replacing my shocks with either coilovers or a better set of shocks. I suggest you do it right the first time and save yourself the hassle.

Addtionally, when you replace the springs you're pretty much taking the whole assembly apart. IMO replacing the OEM shocks with something like KYB shocks will actually enhance the ride (i.e. handling, cornering, braking, etc.) without loosing the refinement.
Eibach or Tanabe NF with KYB is the way to go
